Getting started

Do I need to sign up?

Yes. Claira uses your account to sync across devices (when we add more devices) and to host your email-to-task inbox. Sign up takes under a minute with Apple or Google.

Does Claira work on iPad?

No. Claira is iPhone-only. If iPad matters to you, tell us at [email protected] — demand shapes what we build next.

Does Claira work on Android or the web?

Not yet. Claira is iPhone-only at launch.

Email to task

How do I set up my Claira inbox address?

Open Settings → Email in the app. You'll see your personal address. Forward, CC, or BCC any email to that address and it arrives in Claira within about 30 seconds.

Will Claira read all my email?

No. Claira only sees emails you send to your Claira address. We don't connect to your Gmail or other mail provider.

Can I use the address from my work email?

Yes. Any email account — work, personal, alias — can send to your Claira address.

AI features

What does Claira's AI do?

Surfaces tasks and events hidden inside emails you forward in (automatic). Suggests folders for your notes (automatic). Transcribes voice dictation into structured tasks (on tap). Summarizes long emails, PDFs, and webpages (on tap). Extracts text from images you attach (automatic).

Does my content train AI models?

No. The content Claira sends to OpenAI for AI features isn't used to train their models. Full details in the privacy notice.

Privacy and account

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings from the sidebar, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete Account. All your content is deleted along with the account.

Can I export my data?

There's no in-app export yet. Email [email protected] and we'll arrange one — this follows the data-portability process described in our privacy notice.

Where is my data stored?

On Supabase (our backend), hosted in the United States. See the privacy notice for the full list of subprocessors.

Billing

How do I subscribe to Claira Pro?

Inside the app, open Settings → Subscription, or tap any "Upgrade" prompt.

How do I cancel?

iPhone Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Claira Pro → Cancel. You keep Pro features through the end of the billing period.

I was charged but Pro isn't active.

First, open Settings → Subscription in the app and tap Restore purchases — that re-syncs your status with Apple and resolves most cases. If you're still stuck, email [email protected] with the Apple receipt and we'll resolve it.
